My Impressions
I started my first climb of the winter season with Mt. Tanigawa. It was already covered with snow, but wasn't too bad yet. This climb makes for a great day trip for anybody based in Tokyo — I strongly recommend this one in terms of good access and scenic views, especially if you love snowy mountains.
I have been lazy when it comes to mountain climbing for more than a half year now, so I'm rusty and lack the stamina to tackle a serious climb. For this reason, this climb was a perfect choice. It gave me the opportunity to regain my physical fitness and get back into the swing of things...
It is very important to check the weather conditions in advance if you want to climb this one. This mountain becomes much more difficult to climb as the year goes on. As there can be as much as 4m of accumulated snow per month. If you don't wish to climb the mountain, you can instead enjoy skiing. There's a local ski resort called Tenjin-Daira.

I can earn about 600m of elevation using this rope-way.
There's a ski resort but it have not opened yet.
There's the summit of this mountain behind the cloud.
The mountains around here is not covered snow yet.
Only the ridges connected this mountain are covered with snow.
There're some steep path, but not always. This mountain(course) is totally easy to climb.
The opposite side of the summit was very nice weather.
The path's condition was nice to climb.
The hoarfrost on a tree is beautiful.
The weather was getting worse.
That structure tell us that we get almost summit.
The weather condition was completely different than it was.
I had to cover my head and ears with something, but I didn't because I thought I could manage the cold weather. But it was more tough than I expected.

I got the summit!
There was no view from this summit.
I could find blue sky for a very short time.
It was almost white-out.
The hoarfrost was incredible.
But I decided that I'll pick this picture up as today's best shot.
